Boot Camp

Fitness training is available for all club members regardless of your skills and abilities. Sessions focus on core strength, cardio fitness, and general fitness using Med Balls, Slam Balls, weight plates, ropes and body weight exercises. 

Sessions are run at the following times:

Off-Season:

The off-season training is general fitness training with a focus on improving cardio fitness as well as strength training.

Monday 0530-0600 Fitness circuit in the clubhouse
Tuesday 1800-1900 Fitness circuit at the rear of the clubhouse
Wednesday 0530-0600 Fitness circuit in the clubhouse or beach work
Thursday 1800-1900 Fitness training at the rear of the clubhouse or beach work
Friday 0530-0600 Fitness circuit in the clubhouse or beach work
Sunday 0900-1000 Week 1 - Beep test at club house and fitness circuit
Week 2 – 2km timed run and beach session
Week 3 – Beach session
Week 4 – Hills and Stairs
NB: Activity and venue will be advised weekly

 

 

On-Season (Competition Season):

The on-season skills training can be attended by any interested club member

Eligibility:

You must be a club member to participate in the fitness training/boot camp sessions.

 

Fees:

Participants are asked to make a gold coin donation per session.  The money we raise through these sessions will assist us to purchase additional fitness equipment for use during the sessions.
