Starfish Nippers

Starfish Nippers is a lifesaving skills program design for children over 6 years old through to young adults with special needs who are otherwise unable to participate in a regular Nippers activities.

The program is designed to provide participants with beach safety and water awareness skills in a fun, engaging and safe manner.

Designed and developed by the volunteers of the Anglesea Surf Lifesaving Club, the Starfish Nipper program is now run at many surf lifesaving clubs right around Australia.

Altona LSC is now seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are interested in participating in a Starfish Nippers program at Altona beach commencing either late 2017 or early 2018.  We are also seeking expressions of interest from individuals who are interested in assisting with the planning and running of the Starfish Nippers program at Altona beach.
